The city and canton of Bern in antique views: the city of Bern in a hand-coloured 18th-century copper engraving, Bern Minster, a Bernese costume in a lithograph of 1824 and the Aare falls at Handeck in the Grimsel area. Alongside these are pencil drawings of Emmental farmhouses from the 1960s.
