Provenance

From a private collection in Zug, this sheet shows the previous owner's home region: Lake Zug with a view of the mountains. The view 'Le Lac de Zoug' was produced by the well-known Stuttgart wood-engraving firm of Adolf Closs and later carefully coloured. Kept in its original gilt frame with a fine double mount, it is a charming collector's piece for lovers of Central Switzerland.
