This richly hand-coloured souvenir sheet gathers eleven views of the city of St. Gallen around 1860 – from the atmospheric panorama with its abbey towers to the town hall, St. Laurenzen church, the Poststrasse, the railway station and the region's characteristic bridges. Drawn, engraved and printed by the Lenzburg master J.L. Rüdisühli and published by Chr. Krüsi in Basel.
