Girard – Steel Engravings from “La Suisse illustrée”

Drawings by Girard were engraved on steel for French-language books on Switzerland in the 19th century. Two prints show Arth on Lake Zug, engraved by Grobert for J. F. Lullin de Châteauvieux, “La Suisse illustrée”, Paris 1851. The third shows the hermitage of Nicholas of Flüe at Ranft, engraved by Bichop.
