About the Work

This hand-signed original print from a strictly limited edition of only 60 comes alive through its powerful informel visual language: radiant yellows and reds burst out of a deep, almost earthy ground. The relief-like, impasto application of colour gives the sheet a tactile presence far beyond that of an ordinary print. The red oval seal with Asian characters points to an intriguing East-West provenance, making this a genuine conversation piece.
