This hand-coloured aquatint depicts the famous Tell Chapel near Küssnacht on the Hohle Gasse — one of the key sites of the Swiss national legend of William Tell. Drawn after H. Füssli and engraved by A. Bentz, published by the renowned Zurich house of Füssli & Co. The vivid original colouring, the Zurich blind stamp and the original gold frame make this sheet an appealing, historically charged collector's piece.
