This fine steel engraving depicts the Engadine villages of Campfèr and Silvaplana on Lake Silvaplana, right next to St. Moritz — one of the world's most famous Alpine regions. The print captures original Engadine village life in the mid-19th century, before the great tourism boom transformed the area.
